Pelosi Should Step Out of the Way!

July 29, 2007 (LPAC)--"PELOSI SHOULD STEP OUT OF THE WAY AND LET HER COLLEAGUES RESTORE THE RULE OF LAW," wrote Nation correspondent John Nichols in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer of July 27. "More than a dozen have shown their desire to do so by co-sponsoring Rep. Dennis Kucinich's articles of impeachment against Cheney."

We, the LaRouche Youth Movement, are putting the pressure on.

Congressmen are hollering, saying, "the boondocks, the constituents, are forcing me to do this, totally against my will. Why, if I'm seen as initiating this, do you know what they'll do to me?" That pressure from the boondocks will only increase. And if Congress adjourns,-- as they now intend to on August 6, although they should not,-- they will feel it a thousand times more strongly.

At the same time, "I think we should avoid the scatological approach on this thing, in dealing with this," Lyndon LaRouche said this afternoon. "We've got to be more solemn. Impeachment is a solemn act, and I think some of our slugs and so forth are too much on the scatological reaction side. You're not going to curse them into doing something. You have to hit their conscience. You have to hit them on the highest level."

Once we have Cheney out of the way, a restored US Presidency will have to settle the financial breakdown in the way that Franklin Roosevelt would do it, if he were alive today: by replacing the defunct IMF world monetary system with a credit system consistent with the US Constitution, moving on this internationally with a coalition including Russia, China and India.
