Philadelphia (LPAC) July 25--As momentum builds to rid the nation of the president of Vice, Dick Cheney, on July 24 six-term Congressman Robert Brady, a Democrat from Philadelphia, added his name to Rep. Dennis Kucinich's H. Res. 333 calling for the impeachment of Cheney. Brady is the current chairman of the Philadelphia Democratic Party and was appointed to the postion of Senior Whip in the previous session of Congress, making him the liason between Democratic leaders and the congressional legislative body.
Also on July 24 four-term Congresswoman Diane Watson (D) of California told LaRouche Youth Movement organizers who were on Capitol Hill that she had or would sign onto it as well. A call to her D.C. office confirmed that she "supports" H. Res. 333 but has not yet signed it.
With this, H. Res. 333 now has one, perhaps two, new signers -- just shy of the three Rep. John Conyers (D-Mi.) reportedly said he would need to take action himself on articles of impeachment. [more info here]
