June 12, 2007 (LPAC)--In response to reports that Lynne Cheney, the wife of Vice President Cheney is being considered as a possible replacement for the late Sen. Craig Thomas (R-WY), who recently died, Lyndon LaRouche said that her British controllers may not want to have her as a candidate right now. If she were to be appointed, she would be forced to clarify her relationship to her friends in Britain and to answer the question as to whether she is an agent of a foreign power. What is more, she has already demonstrated that she has very bad taste in husbands. It may have been that she was desperate. And if she made the choice out of desperation we should be kind, but that is not the sort of person we want in the Senate. We don't know exactly what her crime is, but it smells so bad that it is not only an offense, but an insult to God's nostrils.
